Joining the navy then joining NROTC?

so my plan is at this point, to ship in a few months to join the navy reserves as a HM (hospital corpsmen) then to continue my higher learning. i am wanting to transfer to AASU and join their NROTC program. im not looking for a scholarship or anything, just to join and get a commission at the end of my time. my question is.. will this be possible?
