My Virgin Mobile Phone won't turn on?

When I turn on my VM phone it says "HELLO" (as usual) then the screen goes black and says "HELLO" again. IT won't turn on. HELP PLEASE!! I really wanna keep this phone so don't suggest getting a new one or taking it to repair. I want to do this myself without telling my mom.. Im only12 HELP!
